Error while including word.dxl file

Hi !

I tried including the word dxl file, but it generate an error, can you help me (in fact i am new to this forum and to dxl) ?

Here is my code:

string file
file = "/DB/System/Specification File"
Module Mod 
Mod = read(file, false)
result = open(module file)
 
{
#include <standard/export/office/word.dxl> // <-- this line bugs !!
}

I keep it minimal to focus on the problem.

Runnig this code generate an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION, with this message:

It appears the error is in itfui2.inc file !! at the line:

exportBox = create(m,dbTitle, styleFixed_ | styleCentered_)

Do you have any clue ??

Try without the open and close brackets.

The open & close braces should not play a role. You probably need to open your module visible? Regards, Mathias

Maybe "current = Mod" before the include?

There is no more problem if i open the file manually i.e. not in script (isVisible answers true, and my file is really open), otherwise the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error is generated.

So i wonder is there a super open function, because the simple open function answers true but the document is not visible !! (which i thnik provok the error).

Did you actually try:

Mod = read(file, true) // <- USE TRUE HERE TO OPEN VISIBLY!
result = open(module file)
